The Christians of Bethany Fellowship invite you to visit us as you seek a church home.  

We are a small (20-30) group. We emphasize “body life” through interactive meetings and meals and helping one another in practical matters of daily life.  

We consider worship to be the core of the Christian experience, and take the opportunity to worship the Lord Jesus in the Breaking of Bread, which is how we practice remembering Him as He requested us (Luke 22:19), every Sunday (Act 20:7).  

We try to carry out our Lord’s “great commission” through various forms of outreach in our immediate neighborhood and in the broader Warsaw/Winona Lake area. We have a substantial role in a vital mission effort in India, as well as varying levels of involvement in other countries such as the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Sri Lanka.

What you can expect

When you walk through our doors, you will be welcomed!  We may be small, but we’re pretty diverse for this area (we come from many different socio-economic backgrounds), some people may be “dressed up” and others will come “just as they are,” and, yet, everyone fits in.  We encourage participation, not just being a spectator.  We take God’s Word seriously, attempting to apply its principles to every facet of life.​

What we teach

Bethany Fellowship, like many Bible believing churches, teaches: 
• The Bible is God’s inerrant word.
• God as Creator, exists as a Trinity.
• God the Son, Jesus Christ, came to earth in flesh; died for us as our only sacrificial substitute, was buried, raised again and returned to heaven where He intercedes for us with the Father.
• God, the Holy Spirit, lives in and gives power to live a godly life to all born again believers confessing Jesus as Lord.

Distinctives of Bethany Fellowship
• Worship through the weekly observation of the Breaking of Bread (Communion).
• Emphasis on “the priesthood of all believers”.  As Christians we each have important roles in the body of Christ and we encourage each person to use their gifts and abilities in the local Church. We make no clergy/laity distinction.
• Plurality of leadership/elders. Our pastors/teachers are chosen from within the local church and are accountable to the congregation, each other, and to God.
• ​We have no denominational affiliation. We are responsible for discipleship and discipline within the local body and for sending/supporting missionaries.
